I’ve been reading more Teddy Roosevelt, again. This time it’s The Rise of Theodore Roosevelt by Edmund Morris.
Teddy was definitely the most intelligent, most energetic and most interesting President in our fine Republic’s history.
Though he was not necessarily the wisest.
Update: Back to Teedy again! I’m now (February 2011) enjoying Morris’ “Colonel Roosevelt,” and it’s sad to see the love of power going to this brilliant man’s head.
